You can read more about the types of therapy I offer in the "Read More" section under "My Approach.” If you have further questions, don't hesitate to reach out and ask!
I work with people ages 15 and up. I do not specialize in couples therapy but I will have partners/spouses join sessions if that aligns with your treatment goals. I work with families, and although I am not trained in traditional methods of family therapy, I instead work with families to navigate supporting a loved one with a serious and persistent mental illness.
I have direct experience working with depression, anxiety, life transitions, identity development, trauma recovery and healing (PTSD and C-PTSD), relationship struggles, infidelity, dissociative experiences, first-episode psychosis, and schizophrenia-spectrum diagnoses.
A typical session is 55 minutes long.
That is up to you. We can discuss pros and cons to different frequencies and find a plan that feels right for you. That being said, in the beginning if we are able to meet more frequently, preferably weekly, it is helpful in getting to know one another and gaining some momentum for our work. But ultimately, I am flexible and open to discussing what feels best to you. I typically do not meet with clients more than once per week, but there are exceptions depending on the type of therapy in which we are engaged, the acuity of symptoms and distress, and other potentially limiting factors.

Yes! Please reach out to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation to see if we may be a good fit.
I aim to not have cost be a barrier to accessing services, which is the main reason I am contracted with all major insurance plans. That being said, if cost seems like it might be a prohibiting factor, please reach out and we can see if we can make something work, though I can't guarantee that will be possible.
I get that life happens and things come up. I am flexible and accommodating, and I accept cancellations without charging you a fee initially. If it seems to become more of a consistent pattern, I will discuss with you to let you know upon the next cancellation I will begin to charge a $100 late-cancel fee if cancelled less than 24 hours in advance.
Ellipsis Mental Health's Office is located in St. Louis Park.
I do offer virtual therapy if needed and appropriate for your treatment plan.
